PIRE is working with the Baltimore County Department of Health in Maryland on the evaluation of the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The goal of the OD2A program is to use real-time fatal and non-fatal opioid overdose data to inform prevention and response efforts across the provider system in Baltimore County, including peer recovery specialists, safety personnel, and healthcare providers. The evaluation consists of utilizing program information, planning and collecting data through interviews and surveys, and tracking drug overdose incidences and linkages to care through a large case management database.
