Ann Romosz, PhD

Research Scientist

Dr. Ann Romosz is a Research Scientist and mixed-methodology expert who has been with PIRE since January of 2020. She has degrees in Educational Psychology from the University at Buffalo. Her work has sought to identify risk factors associated with substance use as well as develop understandings of how high-risk behaviors influence an individual’s life. Since joining PIRE, Dr. Romosz has expanded her research into the area of high-risk behavior management. Specifically, she is studying the effectiveness of interlock devices to reduce recidivism among DWI offenders. She has authored journal articles and presented at national conferences.

Dr. Romosz is a professor of psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC. She teaches courses in Research Methodology and Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis as well as serves as Dissertation Chair for doctoral students.
